Teamac Wood Primer is a general purpose; modified alkyd based wood primer suitable for priming soft wood, and finishes in a semi-matt white colour. No preparation is needed for the Teamac Wood Primer except a general clean as you would before priming any surface, however new wood would require sanding to begin with in order to reach a specific ‘key’.
Ensure you mix the primer well before use, and before painting on the primer make sure the area is well ventilated to minimise the risk of severe fume inhalation and maximise the drying conditions. Use a brush, roller or spray to apply the primer at a spread of 13 sq. meters per litre, giving it a drying thickness of 40 microns. Allow drying for a minimum of 16 hours before applying the overcoat
